About The Artist

Diane has been drawing animals of all kinds ever since she could hold a pencil. A self-taught artist, Diane has developed a unique style and a way of seeing that is just a little different. Working in vivid acrylic on canvas, Diane can transform a portrait of your dog, cat or horse into a whimsical riot of color while maintaining the core image and personality of the subject, achieving a look that is unusual and distinctly modern.

Originally from St. Petersburg, Florida, Diane has lived all over from Puerto Rico to Alaska. While living in Puerto Rico, Diane was introduced to Paso Fino horses and was immediately captivated. She started riding and breeding, breeding a National level conformation stallion. As night follows day, raising Jack Russell terriers followed breeding horses.

Today, Diane has retired from actively showing and breeding but she is still painting stock pictures and commissioned portraits for an international list of clients from her home base in Woodland Park, Colorado, in the shadow of Pikes Peak.

Commissions

Diane can produce a portrait of your cat, dog or horse in any size from 12 x 12 to 48 x 60.

The animals will usually tell Diane what color they need to be but, within reason, clients can specify colors to match their room decor.
